According to TfL, Hounslow to Heathrow is 30 mins so we would have arrived on Thursday afternoon at 17:17. However your move is still valid and that ambiguity was my fault.
I think I will stop playing from my phone. The reason I keep making incomplete postings is that there is a glitch with the touchscreen which occasionally causes it to think I have pressed a button when I haven't. I'm really sorry about that!

16:17 it would be, but after 4 o'clock it takes a bit longer, and bustimes.org confirms its 16:24.

Correct. It's coming up as VAR on Real Time Trains.
We then board the 2333 Great Western Railway service 2H70 to Henley-on-Thames, arriving there at 2345 on Thursday evening.
We appear to have just missed the last bus of the day, so we spend the night in Henley before walking 0.4 miles to Bell Street, where we board the 06:45 Arriva Beds & Bucks service 800 to Medmenham, adj The Dog & Badger PH, arriving at 06:53 Friday morning.

Luckily, there's another bus which operates on a Friday, so we board it. The 13:20 Z & S Transport route 112 takes us to Upper Wichendon, Church Lane, arriving there at 14:30 on a Friday.
...Unlike in this delightful village, where the next bus isn't until Wednesday morning. I can't seem to find any other modes of transport here either, so it looks like we're going to have to camp out in the field next to the church and beg the vicar for food and water! At least it's warm this time of year...
