2, 3, 11, 12 & 16 are all lovely.

Particular commendation to 3, well deserved winner of the "great colour quality making something painted in vomit look lovely" award!

Went with 11 in the end, as it's just a lovely looking well presented picture!

The standard of entries this week is so high, but it's come down to 12 or 16. I'm going with 16, purely because lovely though the HST shot is, I have to mark it down for the composition relating to the gantry on the left. Slightly earlier or later and it would have been perfect. Still a wonderful shot, and this nitpicky reason is a compliment to the high standard achieved by the top few shots.

Although this was very hard as there were a few which I quite liked, I have to go with 15 as it's so beautifully done I just had to go with it.

#1 and #12 both very good with loads of colour but #13 gets my vote with the human content, its not very well shot or composed but it has that X factor to make it my winner.

Please take this with a pinch of salt, but is this the same X factor Louis Walsh found with those butt ugly, tone deaf Irish twins who couldn't sing - in a SINGING competition. Quote of the thread so far :D:D

Top class standard this week, and one showing me up with the Banana HST thing  I think 11 and 16 are excellent shots (and the standard in general is the best I've seen so far) but I have to vote 12 this time.

If the weather's nice, you might be lucky to get a good sunset (in summer we get quite a lot of good ones over the Forth). The bit of beach I was at is here, about half a mile from the main road, and about a mile from Dalmeny station.
However, the road you go down to get to it is favoured by people looking for, errm... a bit of peace and quiet... especially during the summer.
It was also taken at some point between 10.30pm and 11.30pm, can't remember exactly when that one was.
