Interesting that the upgrade is Railcard discountable - that's quite unusual.

There was some debate about it - Cardiff Central said it couldn't be done, but I'd asked TfW Twitter and they'd apparently phoned Cardiff Central, to which they answered yes.

TBH I don't know whether it should be, but I think they did it sort of begrudgingly because I'd been told I could.

It used to be PRIVable - and sadly that came to an end when an anti-staff killjoy ex-guard got the pricing manager job about 3years ago (I don't usually talk ill of fellow staff, but they really are anti-staff!!) Wouldn't surprise me if they stop railcard discounting it soon too.
