... although I know that the Vic Line has already got the new stock in Passenger Opperation - all the other lines are due attention in the near future (Bakerloo Line being last supposedly completed by 2020). Along with the Vic Line the following lines are due new units:

• H'smith & City Completion 2016 with 53 New Units
  
• Metropolition Completion 2016 with 58 New Units
  
• Circle Completion 2016 with 53 New Units
  
• District Completion 2018 with 80 New Units

Note:- They are all the lines with the older style of trains.

The Vic Line has a completion of 2012 with 47 New Units in Service

You mean the 'S'-stock ('S' meaning sub-surface); initial roll-out hoped to be no later than 2013, by which time the 'A'-stock on the Met will be over fifty years old. Air-conditioning, inter-unit walkways (or whatever they're called), speed limiting (even on the faster Met sections beyond Harrow), etc. Fine units they are set to be.

All LUL lines, barring the already-completed Central and Waterloo & City, are in line for massive upgrades during the next 15 years, including new stock in some cases.

Something's not right with them numbers. The Circle and Hammersmith combined - 53 Units sounds more likely!

And don't forget the upgrades program isn't just about stock - the Jubilee, Northern, and Piccadilly lines are already either underground or expecting major signaller renewal and development work.

Are there still going to be two "S" fleets- 7 and 8 car- due to platform length issues on the Circle and District, or has a solution been found to that issue? I'd have thought with the inter car connections, even having a full car's doors not opening wouldn't be such a huge issue- after all, SDO (usually the first or last doors of one end carriage stay closed) is used in some "tube" stations, so it isn't alien technology to LU. Would having an entire car try to move forward just be too much delay at too many stations? As I understand the situation as it is, despite only being for the Met, the S8 will have the same seating configuration as the S7, rather than the more "mainline" arrangement of the A-Stock which it is replacing.

A stock inner rail is too long for Barbican so the last car's doors are switched out. Not a problem as the train has only come from Aldgate so last car usually only lightly loaded.
Incidentally, ‘S’ is the correct letter for the new district line stock, following on from ‘R’. The Met never had a meaningful stock lettering system (MV MW Car ??). The District did however so the ‘D’ stock should have been ‘S’.

They don't make it clear, but is supposed be to be a single fleet for the Circle and H&C (thus why they're getting the same number of trains!). get the impression though that this won't (as is currently the case) be shared (on a day-to-day basis) with the District Line (notice the C stock has a line map covering the Circle, H&C and Wimbledon-Edgeware Road). There's something of an argument that with the new service for the "Circle" that it might as well be abolished as a seperate line- the other two Sub Surface lines after all, especially the District, are each a collection of routes.

The Circle and Hammersmith are part of their own business unit.
The trains for the Edgware Road to Wimbledon are "offered for service" by Hammersmith (C&H) depot (or stabled elsewhere) and they should receive their quota per day.

I don't know about the other things you talk about.
