Thanks for the update. Yeah I think they will have to do something as it does look like a mess but as I asked before, does it bother them as much as us? I think given the age of the B7s, 55 (2005) and 56 (2006) plate so coming to the end of their lifespan in the next 2 years, they might renumber them but I honestly don't thgink they care as much as we do lol. It looks like a mess though.

Highly doubt they'll renumber them, wouldn't be much point. Clearly they're withdrawing buses based on condition rather than numerically from oldest to newest.

My job let's me read a lot of companies asset registers (not exclusively buses). If they can tell what is where and its current status they will almost never redo it. Tends to be a once a decade or 2 big clean up that sees things renumbered and ordered.

Edit- you do sometimes see a single incongruent item moved around

I reckon thats the last of the moves because theres no more XLBs to displace vehicles. Ill post an update later this week if theres anymore moves

Our design team have been working on the look and feel of the plane livery keeping it tune with our iconic Lothian brand.

We can’t announce any of the destinations yet, but we’re looking at the popular holiday destinations of Spain, the Canaries and Florida.

Discounts could be made available to Ridacard holders as well as the option of flying from East Fortune for those in our East Coast Buses area.

Hopefully there's still plenty of both types still around when I'm in Edinburgh towards the end of May and for a while to come.

35 has a few on it often, but not sure of any others. I think they are dotted here and there depending on where needed. 34 has B5 mainly but today has a few B7s too. As for the B7RLE, you can find these on 1, 2 and 36

As i said on the other thread a Harthill - Whitburn - Blackburn - Livingston - Broxburn - Edinburgh route would be better, seeing as those areas are not in close proximity to the railway with Seafield/Blackburn/Harthill not having a direct bus in to Edinburgh. That X17 would also compliment the X18. You could then replace the 287 by having the 275 go to Bathgate (Via Blackburn) instead.

I don't really see there being much demand for a route like the X17 when it goes to areas already served by the railway.

I was thinking when they introduced the 281 that they should extend it to Edinburgh as there wasent a direct link to West Calder and Loganlea to the city, however now this news comes and it’s surprising

The reason for the 281 is to provide a 15min service over all parts of the route to compete with the more direct routes operated by first.
