Apologies if this thread should go elsewhere - I couldn't decide if it needs to go in the timetable section.
Today I noticed that a train ran to Ashchurch MoD site. I believe this is the first for many years (since 2012?). However, a return working is yet to appear. Does anyone know anything about this train, or whether this is the start of a regular service?
Interestingly, the train ran in an STP overnight path from Marchwood MoD. Click here. There is currently (and has been for many years) a runs as required daytime path from Bicester MoD a few time a week.
If anyone has any information I would love to know.
