Evening all,

I applied for the job in December and was fortunate to be interviewed in February. I was then invited to the assessment day despite completing them with another company. I arrived and they said the results are all valid we'll tell Northern.

Two weeks has passed and I have heard nothing. Now I know that recruitment processes can be incredibly inconsistent time wise but should I try and get in touch?

I'm currently a teacher so I am really constrained by my notice periods and wouldn't want to be stuck or left jobless!

Or is it just a case of a waiting game for the moment? Any advice much appreciated.

I attended my assessment two weeks this Friday in Manchester, not heard anything, however the DB site shows my application for driver at Victoria is in progress and Piccadilly has come to an end. Had no emails. I tried contacting HR but nothing.

Likewise Everything you read suggests it’s not the quickest process. Not good if you’re impatient like me

I applied on 4th November and I am starting on 15th April so it's definitely not a quick process so just be patient and hang on in there

Congratulations, I too am supposed to be starting on the 15th, but still waiting for the full job offer had the conditional one stating they are waiting for medical results, that was last week and i have to give 4 weeks notice, so it looks like i might have to start on the next course !

Yes I've got my full offer Just waiting for my contract but I've got confirmation of my start date with address details of the training in an email.

I applied for this Job in December and have had no emails at all from them. On my profile it just says application received the same for Picadilly also. I think it could be a technical error because surely I should of had an email of some sort.

After a whirlwind ten days I'll be starting on the 15 th!! A little mix up delayed me being informed. Looking forward to it.
