First West of England have a vehicle in Badgerline 2 colours (though they have subsequently now done a modern retake on Badgerline for Weston locals)
First Leicester had two vehicles representing different eras?
First Potteries have quite a few vehicles in different liveries representing different eras (e.g. BET era, post dereg)
First West Yorkshire have a number of vehicles as well WYRCC with Huddersfield Corp, Halifax Corp, Bradford Corp, Yorkshire Rider, Rider York - they also have a lot of named vehicles such as the Ledgard one
First South Yorkshire have buses in Rotherham, Sheffield (x2) and Doncaster Corp plus South Yorkshire PTE
First Midland Red had two in Midland Red colours - the 1960s era has just been repainted into standard colours on transfer but the decker with BMMO colours remains
First Essex have one in Westcliff on Sea colours
First Eastern Counties have quite a few with Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft Corps, Eastern Counties post dereg x4, and even Flying Banana

First Greater Manchester did have all their constituent ancestor fleets represented (including LUT) but they've all be repainted IIRC. Similarly, First Kernow did have ones in GWR and WNOC colours but now gone. First Cymru similarly had a number repainted in United Welsh, Llanelly (not a typo) & District but a number have since been withdrawn

The Potteries area has quite a few:

D&G Bus
  • D&G 20 years livery - 10
  • Turners of Brown Edge 8A livery - 38
First Potteries
  • 1960s PMT livery - 65027 & 32635
  • PMT yellow & red livery - 65026
  • Dereg era silver/black livery - 37146
Not sure how this counts but ALX400 B7 32081 has just been repainted (or at least refreshed) into 2000s era Barbie livery.

Stagecoach Chesterfield has this bus but I haven’t seen it for a while https://www.flickr.com/photos/49007178@N02/41941615890

Stagecoach have usually repainted vehicles to commemorate various events (e.g. centenaries) though they have long had one in Cheltenham District red and cream - in fact, it was an SPD and now they have an e200. They do have some to reflect 25 years of Stagecoach West but that's a special livery, not a legacy one.

That said, Stagecoach have been very good at reflecting the heritage of the various operations they've purchased - sometimes in a tribute livery (there was United Counties liveried e400 for a while, for instance) but also some tipping of the hat - e400mmcs in Torbay wearing dark red (a la DG) or South Downs Connection (tribute to Southdown) in corporate style.

Think Go South Coast still have an Omnidekka in Wilts and Dorset colours for that centenary?

Stagecoach South East have 34541 in traditional East Kent livery to mark the centenary of East Kent in 1916
15443 is in a modern hybrid version of the livery (correct colours with added orange) but in modern Stagecoach style.

Think Stagecoach also have an Omnidekka in Yorkshire Traction colours - being one of the few vehicles that still survive from when they bought the business.

Midland Classic also have a Scania Omnidekka in Stephensons of Uttoxeter livery

National Express West Midlands have Dennis Tridents in Wolverhampton and Walsall Corporation liveries, a Volvo B7RLE in Dual Purpose WMPTE livery, and at Coventry there is a Trident in said corporations livery.

Arriva Midlands have just had a VDL Gemini painted in Midland Fox livery

Stagecoach Midlands have Scania Enviro 400 15675 in Stratford Blue livery, repainted about a year ago now

I saw a red & cream Western SMT E300 on Saturday. Wish First Glasgow would try something in Strathclyde Buses colours. An older E400 would probably look the part

Stagecoach Fife have got a couple in legacy livery. 27532 (SV57BYM) in a special Fife livery for 100 years of the Dunfermline Depot and 19666 (SP60DPK) in variant of the Fife legacy livery for the same anniversary.

Why would they when there's no direct link between the two companies?

Indeed, as i've said in another thread, Stagecoach had a trident in Ribble heritage livery, & it still in Ribble livery after it was transferred to Birkenhead for a whilst.

It's not strictly a legacy livery, but Nu-Venture (Aylesford) have one bus in the chocolate and lime Chatham and District Traction livery. C&DT was absorbed into Maidstone and District in 1955, although Nu-Venture do/did also own the last surviving C&DT vehicle. Nu-Venture also have/had vehicles in two different Maidstone Corporation Transport liveries, one sky blue and one brown.

I don't really know what Nu-Venture's "own" livery is these days. They've got buses in an assortment of colour schemes, and some of their ex-London vehicles have been kept in London red.

Pennnine developed the Skipton Ingleton route over may years. If they hadn't then KLCH probably would not have started their service.
KLCH are not a local company. they are in Lancaster.

Another of Stagecoach's commemorative schemes was the Southdown pair - both repainted to commemorate 100 Years of Southdown Motor Services. However both have now left the Southdown area as 27651 (403DCD) now resides in Basingstoke in standard scheme.

One vehicle now living back with it's former owners and now painted into a stylised version of it's original colours is former Reading, Islwyn, Stagecoach and Mortons Optare Vecta.

First Leicester have 2 buses in retro livery (32646 & 66965 for anyone who has a bus tracker app and is looking to spot them. Charles Street is usually a good bet to see them)

Nottingham City Transport also had a bus in their retro Green & Cream livery but I think this was to celebrate a particular landmark year so it may not be in this livery anymore (676 my notes show)

Without doubt thought the best retro Livery is the Arriva bus that has just be re-painted into Midland fox colours (4752 I believe but I haven't spotted it myself yet to be able to confirm this)

I know ive recently (December) Seen a Stagecoach bus in Sheffield and one @ Barnsley in 2 different heritage liveries as well (Cant find my notes on their numbers at the moment though)

Sorry, but I can't agree with that logic. Each to their own though.

Fully aware that KLCH aren't 'local' as I'm a local ;) Also, they're based in Morecambe at the Battersby's depot since their takeover by Travellers Choice.

First Leeds have a bus in West Yorkshire Road Car Co colours

They also have one in Yorkshire Rider livery too. First Huddersfield have one in Huddersfield Corporation, and First Halifax have one in a strange hybrid of the current First livery in Halifax corporation colours - presumably because the former independent operator Halifax Joint Committee used that livery recently. I daresay First Bradford will have something too.

Epsom Buses ( part of RATP ) have SD42 in the old London Country livery. It's been like that a couple of years now - I think it was done to commemorate something.

They do - see post #2 ;)

*First still own the Turners name, so D&G don`t have the name Turners on the bus
