We then walk 0.5 like to Ryde Bus Station and catch the 2340 Southern Vectis service 9 to Fishbourne, Kite Hill/Fishbourne Lane arriving there at 2349 on Thursday.

We stop off overnight and board the 0540 Southern Vectis service 1 to Cowes (Red Jet Terminal), arriving there at 0559 on Friday morning.

Must say I'm rather relieved to be be back on the mainland. The Isle of Wight is lovely don't get me wrong but towards the end it's a bit monotonous. Its the same with the piddly Scottish islands.

We then cross the road to the bus stop outside the Platform Tavern, where we board the 0647 Unilink service U1A to Swaythling (Montefiore House), arriving there at 0719 on Friday morning.

We wonder why we didn't just change at Birmingham New Street as we return through there on the 11:55 CrossCountry service 1V54 to Plymouth, arriving at 16:45 Friday evening.

Because then we'd have to change at Birmingham New Street...which is a pain :lol:

We then leave the station and cross the road to board the 17:09 Stagecoach South West service 13 to Saltash Passage, arriving at 17:30 Friday evening.

We then walk up the steep hill to Mackenzie Place (8 minutes, 0.3 miles) and get the Plymouth Citybus service BlueFlash 11 to Bodmin Parkway Station, arriving at 19:00 Friday evening.
