It is not 85 it is later but is over 25 years ago. Don't know if the location has changed this was my one and only visit.

The OLE in the picture is looks to be pre Weaver Junction-Glasgow and ECML electrification so that would rule out Leyland and Morpeth (in fact I can tell from the picture its either of those anyway). I'm not too sure about the 1985 date either.

As such, I'll take a punt on somewhere in the West Midlands. Stechford?
