Over pay and conditions. RMT have already sent out papers, ASLEF to follow suit. This includes all front-line staff, and could result in a whole operation walkout.

Essentially over the pay package offered, not sunday workings. Latest offer was 1.5% for 2009 (no back pay), 1.5% for 2010 (with strings).

New management who have come in from Southern/Southeastern are trying, apparently, but watch out as DafT are tapping their foot impatiently...

Tis the season.

You must disrupt everyones travel during the holiday season.

It's a Railway tradition!

My God, you're right. It's all about upsetting travellers over the festivities. I was mistaken in thinking it was because agreement still hadn't been reached on a pay deal that should have started in April. I feel so silly now you've made it so obvious.

Quite mumrar.

Again classic case of management putting talks back and back, and now time's run out. They've had 8 months for christ's sake!

I know the real reasons. I'm being sarcastic. There always seems to be some sort of industrial action In December.
