20894 would have went to Barrow to replace K reg B10M's on 6 and its variants, but the Trident's are going there to do the 6 and its variants now.

16877 is being refurbed before it goes out into service and 14235 has got a for disposal sign in the front window and no idea whats replaced it.

Well that's a surprise! I can't believe 14235 got the chop before the F reg lol.

So 16877 is going for refurb then coming back to ME or....

Not sure, it was empty when i say it, about 10.30 i think, maybe a bit before. Don't think it was a mechanic driving it, new LED display saying "Sorry I'm out of service" (anyone else hate that?) but without the 000. Looked very shiny, with "Lancaster" under the Stagecoach fleetname, not "in Lancaster"
Didn't see the seat covers though, so can't say if they'd been done.

The rear route number box was just blanked out in red- why did they bother replacing those on some of the 17xxx's with LEDs when most things were loosing them and the 17XXX's never had them in use here anyway?

Right so its staying in Lancaster then replacing a Leyland I assume as mentioned before. I wish they had plated over the rear screen rather then just filling it with a red panel!

KL must be enjoying increased reliability if they don't need 14235.

Either that, or it's broken.
20894 is now back on reserve "proper"; I wonder where it'll go?

I suppose disposing of it makes sense really; as hings stand, the K reg B10Ms are being sold, so I suppose the K reg Olys should be as well.

Obviously it's not as simple as there are older DDs out and about - but the K regs are short and have been worked hard. I suspect that the H/Js etc are much better mechanically.

Were the Versas in Stagecoach livery?

Yes..

And that 16714 or whatever it was, does it still have the 'Number 1 for students' logos?

18153, which had been tracked down to Chorley and branded before we had a chance to send it to Preston, has also gained a 'full page ad' on the rear for the coastliner service, looked very striking, especially as it was on a 3!! and only hours earlier had been in Chorleys side yard..

Interesting about those Versa's...

Yeah I suppose selling off 14235 does make sense...liked it when I had it for school runs, the short ones look cute lol. It may not be replaced at all.

have to remember that the K reg's are short wheelbase with the "short" capacity of 75 or 77 seats. the F reg is long wheelbase with "high" capacity of 87 seats.

Explains why 14204 is going and 14195,14196 and 14208 might be staying as they are over 80 seats. But we`ll find out after the service changes in two weeks and again in january.

14204 on the 942
22827 came of the 55 at Lancaster Bus station and then went onto the 2, heading up to the Uni missing out Common Garden Street. The sat idle at the underpass while the driver ran up to the square. Later seen on the 4
16665 on X3
22804 on 501
20545 on 3/4
14196 on 42
Info bus in its usual spot.

Soon after 14196 departed for Blackpool, 14195 departed for Preston.

14208 was running around this morning showing A2, this had changed to 2A by this afternoon!

Front side and rear blinds on 22821 all out of order this morning showing only lines of dots across the screen.

So if 16877 is going for refurb then coming back it can be assumed that 14204 will be gone within the month. What a shame, will miss seeing it around, bit of a local legend really lol.

14208 on the sainsburys bus

22818 went down to Carlisle depot before, with some new panels on sides.

LL's 16652 and 16734 were on Carlisle to Northside, being driven by Carlisle drivers, with Carlisle style information on the LED. it was showing "Northside" in bigger writing, with "via Maryport" in smaller writing under it, with 300 to the right.

LL's 16447, a J-HFR oly, 20944, and a few Citi Darts were around workshop areas.
14207 was outside.
20908 and Osprey Bus down side.
Paramount driver trainer at the back.

a freshly painted 14268 (K128DAO) was on 61's, and it has had its DP seating replaced with retrimmed bench seats.

14232 on 554.
20966 replaced a Citi Dart on 67 / 68.
20979 on 600, along with LL's 20759.
14254 on Brampton 685.
52405 and 52408 on Newcastle 685.
42672 and 20904 on 75.
42533 and 42531 were on layover at bus station.
34048 on 71.
42670 on 69.

A very ill sounding 18372 on 556 tonight, with warning lights to match!

20457 on the 556 this morning; the loss of 14235 is clearly already being felt!

struggling to see the logic with that.
we send 3 deckers to Carlisle, to get 3 deckers off reserve, one of which was originally planned for Carlisle (16874).

O don' think logic and Stagecoach are ever used in the same sentence lol.

B10's appearing on the 555/6 is becoming a regular event!
