Is there a reason why no X City line stations appear to have been re branded? No chance of a dedicated branding I suppose?

Was at Selly Oak on Saturday. It looked like the station benches, hand rails etc had been freshly painted in green and black.

Not sure what part the colours of green and black play in the new West Midlands Railways livery and branding. None whatsoever as far as I can see. Pointless waste of time and money at Selly Oak!

Hi does anyone know when 350/1s livery change or what’s happening with it? The state of those seats are unbearable.

Could it possibly be after the franchise has acquired the 350/4s? Total speculation.

There's additional 319s joining the franchise in the near future, so maybe once they've all entered service.

Have the 150s had PRM work done to them before they go to northern?
Read somewhere that the WMT 323s could also be going to northern, is this speculation?

Not at this stage, guess they'll have to join the queue with the rest of Northern's units.

Just speculation publically, but as noted above the first WMT unit has gone for PRM mods now, whether that's to make them more attractive to any potential leasee or whether Porterbrook have already agreed a future home for them remains to be seen.

The WM 323s were always going to have to be PRM modded. There was never any timescale possible to get all the 730s in by the end of 2019 so a mod programme to make them 2020 compatible was always going to have to happen just to get through to the 730 introduction

That's a blast from the past from Central days! Must have been worked throughout by a New St/Wolves crew unless Crewe have started signing them...?

No we still don't sign them at Crewe, just a 350 depot for us.. Almost all Liv work on a sunday morning is wolves and bhm. It's only getting one trip, coupling upto a friend to carry onto Lichfield when it gets back.

170635 now has the "Trump Complexion" i.e. the "outgoing/interim" WMR livery, leaving only 630 and 631 to be done of the 170/6s.

I suspect the lack of new LNWR vinyls being rolled out is that WMT need all the capacity they can get at this busy time of year, particularly at weekends with people going Christmas shopping and visiting the various Christmas Markets (particularly Birmingham's excellent one) - so units that would normally be spare have been tacked on to other services to bolster capacity.

Was the 323 recently on Birmingham - Liverpool due to 350 unavailability?
