but who else wants the job right now?
quite a few of the hard brexit types would crawl over broken glass to do the job! There may be a vote of no confidence triggered tomorrow according to political correspondents on twitter

Probably right.quite a few of the hard brexit types would crawl over broken glass to do the job! There may be a vote of no confidence triggered tomorrow according to political correspondents on twitter
I don’t know whether to laugh/cry/just ignore it all, and stick my headphones on to listen to something that takes me away from it all until someone that knows what they’re doing sorts it all out.
I’ll probably go for the latter.

I'm not sure about that, its much easier to shout from the sidelines than actually be leader and have to do something

With nobody keen to replace her. So there's three options open to thwe Government:The house of cards is starting to tumble.
Theresa May's job is hanging by a thread.
With nobody keen to replace her. So there's three options open to thwe Government:
1) face a general election
2) walk away from the EU
3) a second referendum
when the economy turns to s***
nah, I tried with "Kate McKann (Sky/Telegraph correspondent) will you marry me??!!" but I don't think she heard above the din. She would have turned this owd slaphead down faster than Raab the deal mind.So it was you I could hear shouting "Stop Brexit" while the PM made that announcement?![]()
Well I hope they have mine "Sack the lot of 'em!".Wheels well and truly falling off the Brexit cart, as things currently stand there's not a snowball's chance in hell of this deal getting through parliament.
I think there'll be an attempt to topple May within days, maybe even hours. Wonder how many letters have been received by the 1922 Committee so far?
If that sinking ship is half-way between Dover and Calais the lad's got an issue....So Raab quits. Another rat trying to leave the sinking ship and blaming the captain while he does. It is like he wasn't present for the negotiations! shameless
With nobody keen to replace her. So there's three options open to thwe Government:
1) face a general electionThere's no appetite for 1), they would never be forgiven for 2) so the only option that enables them the get out of losing power or taking the blame is to put the responsibility onto the electorate* with 3).
2) walk away from the EU
3) a second referendum
* That bright idea was Cameron's and he landed us in that mess, so only the hard line leavers would risk everything to follow their dream, and there aren't enough of them.
We can't walk away from the EU as - well, the "deal" showed us what we would keep (ie the planes fly, ferries land etc) which proves that operaton fear was indeed operation reality if we didn't have a deal. It's now there in red, blue and white, come no-deal everything's at a standstill.1. or 2. are most likely, 3. wont be offered by the Conservatives may be offered by Labour as an election manifesto.
No government would let that happen, not even this one.
I used to vote Tory but never, ever again - even if it hits me in the pocket. I live in a marginal (Bolton West) and Toryboy Brexiter Green has a majority of something like 800.This one would, partially out of sheer bloody-mindedness and also the fear that were they to renege on the referendum result no-one would ever vote Conservative again.
Environment Secretary Michael Gove has cancelled his diary engagements today.
Work & Pensions Secretary Esther McVey gone too.
#omnishambles.
Collective responsibility. Seems even Raab had nothing to do with this compromise proposal. It seems the leavers are all leaving.![]()
Wonder if they will use their current freedom of movement and go and live in the EU?It seems the leavers are all leaving.![]()
As opposed to the massively booming and profitable for all economy we have now where chain after chain after chain of well established High Street stores are going down the tubes (or being bought by Mike Ashley, which is much the same thing tbh)
