I know it’s slightly “off piste” from the OPs original question but if anybody can tell me the day to day duties for this role I would be most interested, the advertised job description for network rail operatives appears to be identical whichever one you apply for!

Yes I’m at the same stage. I did email NR HR about a more detailed job description and the reply was that it was just a generic track operative role and that 147 applicants were being reviewed!

As you have said, any more specific information around the role and working patterns etc would be greatly appreciated at this stage.
