Services here are limited so we board the 1616 Transport for Wales service 1G60 to Smethwick Galton Bridge, arriving there at 1922 on Wednesday evening.
Just curious, is there a reason why we didn't board the 14:17 X4 bus to Bangor rather than wait for 2+ hrs?

We then board the 2029 West Midlands Trains service 2V56 to Stourbridge Junction, arriving there at 2126 on Wednesday evening.
Anyway, moving along (because who doesn't want to use the people mover!), we board the 21:35 West Midlands Trains service 2P91 to Stourbridge Town, arriving at 21:38 Wednesday evening, having enjoyed all 3 minutes of 139-ness :).

Because it's Bangor ;)

No in all seriousness I didn't see it on the timetable.

We then make our way into the bus station opposite and board the 2205 National Express West Midlands service 7 to Merry Hill* (Bus Station), arriving there at 2235 on Wednesday evening.

* Also known locally as Merry Hell, which does make me laugh as it is pretty chaotic there, especially at this time of the year with Christmas fast approaching!

There doesn't appear to be many buses remaining, so we jump on the returning departure, which is the 1749 Abellio Greater Anglia service 2S25 back to Norwich, which we take as far as Hoveton & Wroxham, arriving there at 1830 on Friday evening.

Feeling in a better frame of mind, I have returned to the thread.....

Hold on, we’ve skipped a day here - we should be on Thursday evening/ Friday morning. Could posts please be amended (hopefully it doesn’t make a difference to timings!) :).

I have amended the day of arrival from Friday to Thursday in the posting that I made as requested.

I think that some Saturday times are different to Monday to Friday times on certain routes, so the last couple of postings need to be checked accordingly and the correct day shown in those postings.

I've just checked and the other two posts seem to be fine on a Friday, so I think we can just change the days now :)

Thanks for checking the days/times team! My mistake.

From Piccadilly, we then head down to the Metrolink platforms, where we board the 0518 Metrolink service 3 to Clayton Hall, arriving there at 0533 on Saturday morning.
