Hi question please
Am off to London next Saturday - will be leaving early AM to Euston
Want to return Sunday via Didcot Parkway - with the intent of visiting the Dicot Rail Centre
Question is - does the off peak return to Liverpool cover this journey re 'any permitted route'
Looking at National Rail - Price for Liv - Eus - Liv is approx 57
But when i add via Didcot - it comes as 61
Fare would be with Railcard BTW...

I'm getting NRE to display routes from Paddington via Didcot towards Liverpool with a via-point of Oxford for £57.35

Liverpool to Paddington via Didcot is valid (Traceable on maps RV+RG)

However I understand some people at RDG want to abolish this validity, in order to keep things "simple" (!)

Just to point out that in the context of this question RDG is a tiny bit confusing. It took me a moment or two to work out that Yorkie wasn't all that worried about what staff at Reading wanted to do...
