Workings from Ilford EMUD to the North

Hi all,

On RTT for tomorrow I have found these two workings:

Ilford EMUD - Carlisle High Wapping Sdgs

Does anybody know the reasons for these paths, what may be working on them and whether they'll actually run?

Might they be for a 321/4 transfer to Scotrail? I can't remember if there are any of those still outstanding.

317506 due to be dragged to Kilmarnock from Ilford on Monday, PRM work starting?

317506 was on the Ilford - Carlisle service, not being dragged down the WCML

Ah OK yes that would explain the 'timed for 317' which did seem a bit odd. I didn't realise they were going that far away for PRM work.

So I wonder what'll be on the Ilford - Kilmarnock service?

it will be a unit off for overhaul. It will run to Carlise and be dragged to Kilmarnock.

The second (currently at Penrith) is 37884 dragging 321403.

Couldn't they've just sent the 317 and 321 together or would that've been an issue?
