Thanks for the explanation.

Is this a recent change - and if so should it help reduce the regular 'Delays due to Signal Failure at Dyce', which always seem to occur more often on a Monday morning. Or is it related to the recent works?

I take it that's then why it takes over an hour on the initial part of the journey from Aberdeen to Dyce? Travelling slowly, in contact with the signallers?
