Paris - Lille europe/ bus 91

A smooth journey from Montparnasse to Lyon using bus no 91. 30 mins with brief glimpses of the sites!

Took the 15.15 to Lille Europe which terminated at Flandres. Is this normal? Having not used this route before we were left with a bit of a scrabble to to get to Europe. Will know for next time.

Delayed at Europe by 8 mins which resulted in a 30 min loss into St Pancras. The delay apparently caused by loss of path. Conversations on the train suggested the delayed departure was caused by having to wait for passengers. Again, is this normal for this route?

Onward connections made but not quite as relaxed as hoped!

As for the Eurostar assuming it was yesterday's 9149, that train has always been held on the very few times I have got it on Saturdays when it gets to Lille as the next one is not for about 3 hours, so I think if a TGV is slightly late (I can see 1 was) or the check-in is busy, they'll hold it about 15ish minutes. Looking at RTT, the train must have been 8 late at Lille, got slowed down by following a shuttle in the Eurotunnel to 17 late, then when it left Ashford, it was so (19) late that a 5 early 9043 was full speed on the flyover, meaning it had to wait again. 9043 then slowed down in front of it so that it could call at Ebbsfleet, meaning 9149 did too (24 late) and maintained that delay until St Pancras. Many thanks for the explanation CMS. I guess we must have missed the announcment of the change to Flandres, although the departure board at Lyon was showing europe. Yes, it was 8 mins at europe, departure at 44 rather than 17.36.
