Hello all. I'm planning to travel to Heathrow Terminals 2 & 3 (HXX) from Derby (DBY) on the morning of 3 September, via East Midlands Redskins and Heathrow Express. The National Rail website is telling me to take the 07:23 from DBY, but according to the EMT temporary timetable, there is no 07:23! There is an 07:25 and an 07:05. Looking at the details, the timing of the rest of the journey on National Rail Enquiries roughly corresponds to the times for the 07:05 (departs East Midlands Parkway 07:34 according to National Rail / 07:35 according to EMT; arrives St Pancras 09:12 according to both). Would I be correct in assuming therefore that the train will depart at 07:05? Many thanks.

AFAICT there’s a planned weekday timetable change from the 3rd of this month, presumably for another stage of the Derby resignalling works.

What day are you looking at in the journey planner?

Thanks for the quick reply . Looking again at the EMT temporary timetable, I see that I was looking at the wrong set of dates - the timetable changes again on Monday. So my error.

I had to look twice, because the front cover of the online pdf does imply it’s one timetable for the entire period, but it contains quite a few dated versions within...

Yes, that's where I went wrong - and until two weeks ago I was a regular commuter to Leicester on the 07:05, and had got used to it leaving Derby, then waiting 20 minutes at at Trent to drop into the path of the following service.
