Well, rarely do you get a rateable bus on a replacement service!! Usually its ex-school coach piffle with holes in seats etc etc! Rancid - and I do like buses in general!
Look what ive startedI dont like busses at all, smelly slow lumps of **** with chavs listening to their music WAYYY to loud upstairs mouthing off at a crying baby downstairs, all this with the smell of p***
You've been going on the wrong buses. And last time I checked; it's trains that get p*ssed on/in, not buses. Our 314s have no loo and when they're run on the Gourock/Wemyss Bay runs late in the evenings that's just asking for trouble... because people around here will just stand there and take a p*ss if they need it. One group of lads once tried to get into the driver's cab because they thought it was the loo, and when I told them there wasn't one, they were deeply shocked.
I go on WM busses so yeah I do go on the wrong bus![]()
I would 2nd that... the 11 bus route has to be the worst :-x
There's no need to visit Dudley Zoo to see wildlife in the West Midlands, just hop onto a National Express West Midlands bus!
Lol, wow. You guys really have it in for buses but then again after what has been said I can't blame you!
I've even been on London buses and thought they were superb!
The prospect of having to work 'til I'm 66 just so that Slippery Dave can get his full inheritance.![]()
Something that is really starting to irritate me is the 'war' in Afghanistan.
Just how many UK citizens have the Taliban / Alqaeda killed?
Those videos people keep posting everywhere, one of them is about Michael Jackson, another features a ship in a tsunami, and I bet there are more, where you expect to see something interesting, and all you get is some weird character screaming at you.
childish.
That wasn't the point of my post - OK the terrorists have killed too many but does anyone think the current military action is going neutralise that threat?
The point of my post was that what's growing in the fields is probably doing more damage to society than the actions of a few terrorists; why not tackle that problem while were on the ground there?
Agreed and we need our troops to go out i tank and armered vehercile rather than on foot and more air strikes, anything to reduce the casualties our our and our allies troops and send in the bombers to flaten the drugs fields!!!
Unfortunately mate, the terrain isn't suitable for tanks. I'd agree with you in that we need more armoured vehicles to replace the Vikings which aren't suitable for Afghanistan anyway, talk about fighting a war on the cheap!
Also, destroying poppy fields would **** off the farmers who rely on them for their livelihoods, and make them more sympathetic to the Taliban. The sale of opium is what bankrolls the Taliban, which one might say is hypocritical given that the Koran specifically forbids Muslims from producing or consuming intoxicating substances. A Taliban spokesman did however say that producing opium is allowed since only infidels in the West smoke it and not Afghans. What's needed is a way of regulating the production and sale of opium that gives farmers a livelihood and doesn't benefit the Taliban
Or, how about we just blow up everyone in that part of the map and return to some sort of normality.
