For Doctor Who Fans..

Now I'm not sure who out of us here likes doctor who, probably none of us, but news has reached me that the new doctor, matt smith, takes over the helm in 2010, this is old news, the newest news is the following:

The New Doctor not only gets New Assistant (Karen Gillian) Amy Pond, he also gets a new TARDIS interior, according to sources in the BBC and not only that it was revealed today officially by the BBC he gets a brand new logo!

As you can probably tell, I am a big fan of the doctor who currently, with its sci-fi logo and it's companions and it's david tennant and I don't think Matt Smith can live up to what David Tennant is or was.


Which leads me to the final questions -

What do you think of Matt Smith?

I dont like the look of smith but am holding judgment as i believe the same about tennant and was completely wrong lol

My fav doctor is tennant very good acting and i think his charictor attitude is great

and am liking the new logo as the other ones too old now lol

I reckon Docter Who has gone down hill ever since Christopher Ecclestone left I eventually got bored of the series and I have stopped watching it.

Isn't The Master a Time Lord as well? So in theory I presume he regenerated like the Doctor does (which begs the question why a different actor is not playing The Master )

They regenerate if their organs continue to work for long enough - he was shot and didn't regenerate in time so the doctor burnt him and yes if he did regenerate a new person would play him, John Simm has blonde hair for the shows.. don't know if that counts

but i bet the bbc find a way too get the doctor past the 13th regeneration (if the shows still going) after all in the 1980's the last time davros was seen he was nothing more than a head in a box but in 2008 he came back looking like he did in his first appearance

The obvious answer is that what is about to happen has already happened, of course that is too obvious, so they will go with something implausable instead.

Not a fan of the logo, never heard of Matt Smith either.

I thought David Tennant's Doctor had some good episodes (the one with the statues (that didn't have much of the Doctor in) was good) and some really bad ones, infact, lots of bad ones, but no worse than Christopher Eccleston's batch......

Blink! Series 3, was absolutely superb. Was nominated for a BAFTA. Written by Steven Moffat.

Interestingly, all the Dr Who episodes nominated for BAFTAs and other awards have either been co-written or solely written by Steven Moffat. And guess who's the new principal writer for Dr Who

I liked Doctor Who but latley it has gone down hill and is crap but thats my opinion.
