I am stumped though, every time I think I have found the answer it fails a clue, usually the two changes of trains for London. Even some of the remotest single platform request stops only need one change for London.

I will keep looking as its driving me mad now!!

Entwistle (and many other stations on the Ribble Valley line) are not all that remote, but getting to London involves changing at Salford Crescent & Man Picc, or Bolton & Man Picc, or Bolton & Wigan or Blackburn & Preston.
