Buckenham only has trains at weekends, and that is the last Sunday service at the station.
Yeah, this is a slight issue, we're now stranded at Buckenham till Saturday, with no buses nearby!

No, nor can I. I can't help feeling that in real life the traveller would walk the 1.7 miles to the nearest bus stop, but that bizarrly is forbidden by the game!

You are not allowed to get on a train you've just alighted from.
I've just sent a PM to a couple of QM's to see what they say, I doubt that this issue has ever arisn in all 16273 posts on this thread!

THe only time I can think of this happening before was a few months back I brought us to Sellafield Site on a works bus on a Friday but then edited it again to leave somewhere else.

I would say if we are stranded until Saturday we’ll have to jump to Saturday, although a bold explanation would be useful in case it gets questioned later! Just my personal opinion!

Perhaps we can blag a place to stay for the week from whoever owns the (what I assume was the) station master's house .

I would say to carry on and need to make a bed up for 7 days.
Main reason being is we often end up in far north of Scotland in the highlands and Islands and we often need to wait there for a day. Whilst a wait of 7 days is unusual it becomes too hard to expect someone to not only plan their own move but also predict the next.

After a prolonged, but charming stay in the very accommodating Station Master's house, catching up on lost sleep and doing a bit of amateur bird watching, we then board the 10:17 Greater Anglia service 2J70 to Somerlyton, arriving at 10:38 the following Saturday morning.

Without the need to wait for 6 days, we board the next service which is the 11:59 Greater Anglia service to Norwich, arriving at 12:32 on a Saturday afternoon.

We walk the 2 minutes to Lingwood station where we arrive in time to board the 13:51 Greater Anglia service to Great Yarmouth, arriving there at 14:09 on a Saturday afternoon.
