I've read on the service information boards that the District line is only closed between South Kensington-Richmond/Acton Town on the aforementioned weekend could somebody please clarify thank you.

Tower Hill-Wimbledon every 20min
Edgware Road-Olympia every 10min
Piccadilly Line operating special shuttle Northfields depot (west)-Osterley-Heathrow T4 loop-Osterley:
Cockfosters-Hyde Park Corner every 5min
Acton Town-Heathrow T5 every 10min
Acton Town-Uxbridge every 20min
Osterley-Heathrow Terminal 4-Osterley every 10min

I thought you all said to me that the Acton Town-Ealing Broadway shuttle was a waste.

The best service Olympia has has in years! The O TD button at OP cabin won't know what's hit it.
The shuttle from Ealing Bdy to Acton absolutely kills the Piccadilly line service in both directions. As the Piccadilly line isn’t going past Acton on this date then it doesn’t really matter.

this engineering work has now been Cancelled on Saturday 16 June.
Replaced with no service Turnham Grn-Richmond Sunday 17 June, TTN1/18 refers
Piccadilly services will operate normally.

You know what I don't understand if there is no Ealing Broadway service then the Piccadilly line usually stops at Turnham Green however if there is no Richmond service it just runs straight through as normal now why is that?

All Richmond trains will run to Ealing instead, so the service to Ealing is doubled, every 5min.

Really the last time they were doing engineering works at Richmond the Ealing Broadway service was still only running every 10-20 minutes as usual.

i concede, just looked, TTN1/18:
Ealing Broadway-Upminster every 10min
Wimbledon-Upminster every 10min
Wimbledon-Tower Hill every 20min
Wimbledon-Edgware Road every 20min
Kensington (Olympia)-Edgware Road every 20min
