LNER A4 minimum radius curves

I would like to know what is radius of the sharpest curve an A4 can handle without gauge widening.

Was talking with the late Roger Barker of Sir Nigel Gresley a number of years back and he was reluctant to take SNG over anything tighter than a 6 Chain radius curve, that would be at dead slow and for only a short length in a yard.

I believe 8 chains was the minimum in normal running but as stated above tighter would be possible at very slow speed.

Using the Google Earth measuring circle tool, the north approach minimum radius is about 190 yds, (approx 8 ½ ch), south about 200 yards (approx 9 ch).
