Good evening,

Recently, I attempted to book a journey from Evesham to Paddington, but the GWR website wasn't working. When I had a look today, it seems that the £6 advance single fares are no longer available; the cheapest I could find was £14 each way. However, on the GWR home page, it still says "Worcester to Paddington from £6 each way", as before, yet I am not able to find that fare. Have they changed the fares for this route permanently, and is this related to me not being able to book a journey last week?
I will be a little annoyed if the fares have changed - this was one of the best routes for me in terms of price - maybe it was too cheap?

I look forward to hearing from someone with more knowledge than me. Thank you in advance.

I see a £6 fare on the 14:25 from Evesham to Paddington on 14 June and 21 June, so they have not been abolished.

Are you saying that you cannot see £6 fares for any date, or simply that the £6 fares sold out for a particular day and time?

Maybe they sold out for your particular journey or maybe they are no longer released for some of the trains which the company feels justify a higher Advance fare

Likewise I just had a quick look and can see a £6 fare on the 14.25 on 22 May and 7 June.

But I've been to London many times at that time of day for that price in the past. However, I do admit that it was perhaps a bit cheap.

The availability of Advance tickets, and of the different pricing tiers of Advance tickets, is at the whim of the TOC. It can simply be a 'here today, gone tomorrow' scenario.
