I saw it just as I was coming onto the motorway the other way at J34 (Lancaster North)

Carlisle has the following MANs:
24116-24120
24121 is at the MAN dealer and 24122 was at ADL on the 17th.

Yeah sounds about right so more darts heading your way lucky you! lol.

17020/21 on the 41.
17024,18325, 18324,18363,18381, 18382 on the 2/2a.
25224 and 14196 on the 5.
20547 and 47016 on the 10.
47001 on the 89.
20790 on the 7.
14195 on the 42.
20451/63 dead at bus station.

Around 8.40 in the morning there is a big problem with congestion at the bus station. This is mainly down to buses sitting dead rather then been on school routes.

Not when I'm on:lol:

40028 on "Maryport Circular 57"

I like how the sh*t always floats upto maryport!

I suppose, though, at least if they are both here (even if one did come to relieve the other) they aren't torturing other travellers in cumbria!

Maryport Town services aren't advertised low floor, so only get low floor stuff if theres something available, but Workington & Whitehaven town services get priority over them. sometimes doesnt work that way though, cos i've saw a solo on Maryport then a Vario on Workington Town Services, even though the 1 in Whitehaven isnt advertised low floor.

20134 on 31, but it looks like 3, cos the 1 is hidden by the tape stuff on the display box window.

You would think they would learn, and when fitting the LEDs, offset them to one side, so at least the number is visible, and now that the destination is smaller, and centred above scrolling text, this would fix the problem, leaving the whole destination visible :!:

thats too sensible though haha. would have been easier if they'd just removed some of the black tape stuff where the number is! its obviously easy to remove if 20107 has parts of it missing, allowing you to see into the destination box through gaps around the edges of the actual bright tech unit lol.

oh, few more things!!!
2 B10M's on 125 / 126, as well as a P reg oly.
20476 (i think) in CE for repaint. had advert on side for Fylde Coast MegaRider, and outlines of recently removed branding for 61 / 61A.

OK OK!! Posted 3-times, no need to nag, LOL,
the possible culprits would have been 20897, 20899, and 16636, as they, amoungst others have been out (as explained in a previous post)

the Network Chorley mini would probably have been on the 114.

John Calderbank departs to Preston

Oh dear, you havn't been looking after 20794 very well then.

It was a good bus in Lancaster.....but fuel tank straps failing is far from uncommon on B10Ms, someone I know has had it happen 4 times in 5 years on the 555. The odd of getting that much bad luck are much higher when you consider the 555 is decker operated, with B10Ms only as a last resort.

Hey I saw that solo on the three stayed on all day as well!

Poor 20794 I'm sure it'll be fine lol.

Some of ME S reg solos are looking very tatty with paint peeling off and bits hanging off the doors. The interiors don't look good either!

Don't forget though that they are

2. Currently undergoing full refurbs.

Hanover blind madness
16659 has now a L.E.D hanover blind,21005 has the old hanover blind from 16659 has it`s bright-tec has messed up for a bit which they will probably use to repair the blind from 20452 and on a final note 20790 (n790vrm) will be one of the B10m`s to leave lancaster next week.8-)

What components will they reuse from 21005?

Good to hear that 20790 is going - that was swapped with Chorely for 20793/4. What's going to happen to it now I wonder?

17012 has left Morecambe, so should be back in service on the 599 soon! :D
