The buses are timed to connect with the ferries - this happens all over the islands of Scotland. In Jura's case, if you didn't have a car with you then you would almost certainly be taking the bus to Craighouse, the island's village and main centre. The bus would wait for the ferry on the pier, so I think that, although it doesn't make the 5 minutes interchange time, it is perfectly realistic.

If you want other options, then there is another bus in two hours' time, or the ferry back to Islay.

You're welcome. They almost certainly would, I think - without the ferry passengers, nobody would get on at Feolin.

Colonsay is another new island for us, which is very cheering. We spend the day on the island before boarding the 19:00 Caledonian MacBrayne ferry service from the pier at Scalasaig, arriving at Kennacraig Ferry Terminal back on the Mainland at 22:50 on Wednesday evening.

Do you still want to go to Oban? Only it's possible tomorrow with a simple change of buses in Inveraray...

You are correct, once again... I was going on the basis of not being allowed to board the same bus as you arrive on. From an enthusiasts' point of view, this would be the same bus but as it is not shown in the timetable I assume we can use this service?

Its the terminus so you can go back on the same service, though you could choose not to.
