Beer Festival At Barrow Hill

Hello everyone

Just curious to know if anyone has previously been to the annual beer festival at Barrow Hill and in particular used the bus service from Chesterfield railway station. There are four of us going and I'm wondering whether we would be better just getting a cab from station.

All thoughts and advice would be most welcome.

I have. My advice is to turn up early, because when I got there a few years back the festival was full and they weren't taking any more. The previous year I was fine on the bus.

Okay many thanks for this. What time do you call early? As the doors at Barrow Hill open? We're planning to go on the Friday.

I think I got there about 14:00 on the Saturday (it was a long time ago). You might also want to check whether they have a morning and evening session now as some of them do.

Okay thanks again Rob. They're open all on the Friday which is when we're planning to go. Hoping to get to the festival between 11 and 12.
