Does anyone have a telephone number for the Group, please?

I'd like to visit their depot at Williton when I'm next on the West Somerset Railway, which may be on Easter Monday, 2nd April. I'm not sure whether they're open, although their web site does say that it's not a running day.

I have sent them an e-mail via the web site but haven't received an answer yet, so given that it's quite close to the possible day when I could visit, I thought that I'd give them a ring - but I can't find a number!

Can anyone help, please? Thanks.

Might be worth trying the West Somerset itself, they may know the opening schedule for the DEPG depot.
I think it's normally open every Saturday, so I think it's likely to be open on a bank holiday, but no definite knowledge.

Thanks again - what forum did you ask, please? I can't see anything on the other ones that I know of!

Thanks; I've tried Minehead station, but they don't know anything. They advised me to try Williton station, but all I got was an answer phone; I'll try to ring again over the weekend, when the railway will be running.

It’s often been open when I’ve visited on a normal running day.
Very interesting to look around too.

Thank you everyone for your help with this.

I spoke to a very helpful gentleman at Williton station this morning. He couldn't find a number for them, but said that they were on site at the time and volunteered to go and have a word with them and ring me back. After a short while, he did ring me back with the news that they'd said that they would probably be open on 2nd April and I'd be welcome to visit if I was there.

I was quite impressed by the help I have had this morning - so, it's now down to me .... !

Ah that’s great. If you do get to look around it’d be great to have an update on how the work to get D7018 is going.

Did u go on Monday?

No, I'm afraid that I didn't; a change in circumstances meant that I didn't actually go anywhere on Monday.

However, I've been in contact with John Crowley of the Group, and he was very helpful; I hope to have another try later in the year.

Thanks again to everyone here from their help.
