What just went through Sowerby Bridge?

Hi, from a distance I just saw something trundle through the Calder Valley past Sowerby Bridge... it looked like several well lit multiple-unit coaches, but sounded loco hauled. I've come across realtraintimes so suspect it was this... http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/H33075/2018/03/08/advanced
but can anyone tell me exactly what it was?
For future reference, is there a better source of information than RTT?

It looks for all the world like a track measurement train. If it was loco-powered, it could have been a Class 37, or top & tailed by two 73s.
It's due through Sowerby Bridge again at 0118, but at the last tracking it was c.80L.

I don't know why 138D and 141D are being considered as two separate trains, I think that's most unusual.

EDIT: Correction to the above, it will be top & tailed, using two 37s or two 73s.

Thanks. Measurement train makes sense... from a distance it looked like the usual DMU, but it sounded more interesting... guessing perhaps a 37. The return trip is probably too late for me to look out for!
Was wondering if there's any way to glean more info from RTT... e.g. do the 138D and 141D mean much?

37421+37099 last night. Headcode was 1Q67/68 iirc.

Top & tailed 73s are common enough on my local line (Chat Moss), probably at least as common as top & tailed 37s.

It was, I think, a PLPR train. I also think the poor weather in the area was to blame for the delay
