I thought I saw an OT Trident with 599 either side, it was only a fleeting glimpse from the car last weekend, but I must have been right!

14208 out in Lancaster near the Judges lodgings today, only saw it from the side so unsure what it was working - possibly a 42 that was just about to terminate at the bus station. Apart from that it all looked fairly standard workings.

14208 currently failed at St.Michaels the Transit support van in attendance. As an edit to my post yesterday it should have been 14204

22610 just gone past to Thornhill with altered display. Thornhill in small text and via points flashing across the bottom similar to the B10s on the X5, looks good!!

There's an inspector in the bus station now, updating most of the LED displays. there is now via points scrolling across the bottom on 30, 30A, 31, 31A, 300 and 301.
i have a video clip of the scrolling for Maryport 31 on 22597, which i will upload to Flickr in the next few minutes.

22597 replaced 20752 on 31.
35249 also on 31.
16652, 16653 (looking very nice in its repaint haha), 16654 and 16734 on 300.
20768 on X5.
47617 on 50.
47023 on 51.
33167, 33169 and 34079 on Harrington & Seaton.
20129 is on annexe with "Moorclose Circular 50" on display.
20134 was on the 48.
14257 on staff shuttle, showing Sorry, Not In Service.

i've uploaded pics of the scrolling to my flickr. the video is also there, but the quality is really bad, so you can't see what it says :(
due to the size of the destination screen, and the destination display window, not all of the information on the screen on the Olympians is viewable. on service 300, you can't see the 2nd 0 very well, unless you're on an angle to the bus.

scrolling is pretty new at Lillyhall. a while ago, they put it on the side display of town services (destination followed by advert for the town day rider), on all rear displays (destination scrolling along the bottom), and services X4 X5 & X58. they later put it on the side displays of most buses on West Cumbrian routes, advertising west cumbrian day rider after the destination. at the same time, they put scrolling across the bottom of rear display for Cumbria Goldrider when the bus wasnt in service.
now, they've introduced it on the routes i mentioned. not sure if it is on 22 or not, but will check next time i'm in Whitehaven area.

been told that Lillyhall should be recieving their 4 Plaxton Profile bodied Volvo coaches (nothing has been mentioned about chassis, so could be B7R or B9R or whatever volvo chassis' they use on profile's) on 5th September 2009 for driver familiarisation (wheelchair lift at front entrance). they are expected to be in service by end of september / start of october! will be interesting to see if the information is correct lol, i hope it is!

If Carlisle is to get Enviro 300s, as was reported here, what are they going to replace? It seems strange to be introducing B10ms only to get rid of them a little while later.

the Carlisle Citi darts are too small for some of the routes. those Carlisle Citi routes used to be operated by B10M's, but were replaced by ALX300's, then when the ALX300's were flood damaged, the batch of citi branded darts took over, so effectively, they lost 11 seats on the routes.

Interesting find here:

http://www.paulsbuses.fpic.co.uk/p59997030.html

You'll notice that they have kept the second set of doors from its London days unlike Lancaster's examples.

Also this old thing looks like it should have been scrapped along time ago! Can't believe how tatty it is!!!

Are the 79 and 104 operated by Darts? I don't k now CE services

they're operated by anything available. 104 is usually B10M but i've saw darts run it, and 79 gets B10M's, Citi branded darts, 52408.

33167 and 33168 on Harrington & Seaton.
34079 ran not in service towards the bus station from maryport direction with a minibus driver on it.
47024 on 50.
35246 on 31 with scrolling display.
16734 and 16447 on 300.

Spotted in lancaster bus station at 12:30 was a plain white solo in the lay-by any idea who`s it is? :-?

its Kirkbys, I spied it on the 435 the other day with a KLCH driver at the wheel - Im guessing its a rented one.

21003 on the 3 this afternoon, with 20452 on the X1.

I suppose its not suprising Morecambe is losing its two oldest (but better) B10Ms....
