Liverpool L St to Blackpool North

I notice that Blackpool North re opens on 26th March. Will electrification have been completed by then? As the timetable shows only one service to Blackpool a day. And one in return.

I believed once electrification had finished all Liverpool to Preston trains would continue to Blackpool. Or is this now not the case? Thanks

Electrification will not be complete when it reopens. May is the earliest that the electrification will be finished.
Liverpool to Blackpool will return upon completion of electrification, or at least the timetable change following the completion. Whether this is also dependent upon completion of Preston to Salford is also unclear to me.

In pure diesel days there was little crossover of unit diagrams between the Liverpool and Manchester routes so it would be reasonable to assume through services to/from Lime Street can resume as soon as electrification west of Preston is available for use. And of course the 319s home depot is Allerton.
