Canterbury West - Southern unit

Hi all

I was walking over the Westgate crossroads in Canterbury when I saw an Electrostar at Canterbury West station...and it had light green around its front end, so I'm fairly sure it must have been a Southern unit.

The train was at Platform 1, which is for trains to Ashford, Maidstone, Tonbridge and London.

So could anyone please help explain this 'phenomenon'?

Southeastern have recently taken on a number of 377s, most have been repainted but there's still a few going about in Southern livery.

I believe that the interior on these units is still in Southern green as well.

AFAIK there are two Southern liveried units at SE...377163/164. They are still green as well. No idea if they will be repainted.
