Hi,

Has anybody got recent experience of London Midland/West Midlands Rail medicals?

I’m wondering roughly how long you had to wait from finding out you had made it to the medical, to actually getting an invite and going to the centre? Thanks in advance.

I've just passed my re-interview this week, so waiting for my medical. There's never any telling on timelines, however as a guideine, back in October another batch did their re-interviews, had there medical a month later, and then started a month after that. There's a rumoured May course, so a similar timeline would take us to around May.

Fantastic. Are you on the TSC course by any chance? I had my interview a few weeks ago but was told early this week there was a vacancy at my more local depot so they're hoping to get me onto a medical ASAP to get onto that course.

Excuse my thickness, what's TSC? I'm not aware of any course for myself just yet. Not communicated with HR, I'm down for Worcester Shrub Hill. Another lad off another thread I follow also passed this week for shrub hill, so there's got to be upcoming plans for worcs candidates

My bad, I meant Trainee Senior Conductor! Or are you on a driving course? Fantastic news if it’s the latter.

I originally applied for the Birmingham Talent Pool but as I interviewed fairly early on, and they’ve seen I live near Worcester they’ve very kindly offered me that depot. My only concern is getting onto a medical in time as they’re hoping to do a course there soon so I need to work my notice period at my current employer.
