No quote provided because there's nothing to quote.

It's a departure board for a train to Stratford International and "St Pancake", spotted at Ebbsfleet International.

This is not my photo; someone spotted it today at Ebbsfleet and put it on Reddit.

For anyone who's forgotten, it is in fact Shrove Tuesday today.

And my clarification is something for which you ought to be eternally crêpe-ful

I'll get my coat...
I have very mixed feeling about this, I can see the amusing side, but I do wonder if it is wise. If I was in Europe, with an itinerary on my phone or printed and trying to ensure I caught the correct train this could be very confusing.

It depends on the station. If it were Leicester or Sheffield than maybe, but Ebbsfleet? I don't think there's a big risk...

Shrove off

Pick my coat up as well as you pass...

Excellent.

Sigh. I ate jokes about pancakes. They’re so flipping annoying...

Tried to get two in one there but I’m not the funniest comedian

Well there were some cringeworthy and eye-rollingly awful recorded announcements at Eden Park this morning inviting people to do things like propose to their partner over the PA tomorrow.
Glad that I am not travelling with Southeastern again then.

I knew somebody on here would have a "thought" about this......... lighten up, no need to flip out. It's just a bit of fun.

To be fair I do agree to some extent.

Almost as bad as GWR's #CoupleUp campaign...
