On the North Clyde Line, High Street and Partick would appear to be the only stations that have been rebranded.

Also, is every piece of rolling stock going to be repainted or revinyled?

The sleeper stock will surely take a long time to do, since there isn't as much slack in the fleet for vehicles to be out of service, especially if we're heading into the summer?

I can't remember how long it took last time (NX to First take over) but I seem to remember it being well over a year of mixed liveried sets going out. This time I understand it will only be as vehicles require a repaint so even longer?

It's inevitable that the North Electrics will close soon, and I think they'll use that to update the stations.

Why would they close?

Temporary closure for Airdrie-Bathgate works. Airdrie needs a remodelling. I'm not sure if trains can terminate at Coatbridge Sunnyside (it's possible, but I'm not sure if it would be permitted) and the only other options would be Bellgrove/High Street/Springburn. Whatever happens, I think they should use the time to redo the closed stations on the way.

There is still at least one Mk3 that is just in plain blue with a couple of First logos.

Kilmarnock now has the new signs up . Can't wait for the platforms to be painted. The blood & custard is looking a bit shabby these days.

I would think the whole Kilmarnock line will be redone in time for the double tracking timetable introduced in December, along with the repainted former SPT 156s. With emphasis on 2010 being firmly on the North Clyde and Edinburgh stations in prep for A-B.

Queen Street is now in the new colours, also more signage has been implemented and where the exisiting monitors were a new fancy SR sign has been put up:

Are there any plans to speed up the relivering process on the fleet as a whole. I understand doing the 156's as they pass through works but at the current rate the whole Scotrail fleet will not be done for a decade!! Is it the intention to only relivery on works visits or is there some sort of Northern system to be undertaken which will see the fleet pushed through in a more speedy manner.

I think they want to do the SPT 156s first. But since most of the SR trains, were just painted into FSR colours, (like 156s & 158s), then they probably wont rush that much

The fleet will be done as and when required in the maintenance schedule. The SPT 156s are due to be complete by the end of the year and expect the electric fleet to follow, things at present are really concentrated on stations and other items. Emphasis will be on the rebrand being complete on the A-B route for it opening next year. Also remember when the 380s come that will be 38 units in the new livery which will make a big difference in the customers eyes.

They may be taking a while, but there are plenty of 156s passing through Coatbridge in the new colours. The scheme is getting noticeably more common by the day.
