Me and my Missus now have a Two Together Railcard and I am now eligible for a Disabled Railcard.

Could we use both Cards for the same trip to London?

If you have a Disabled Person's Railcard, your wife will be able to accompany you meaning that you will both benefit from 1/3 off most ordinary tickets, just as applies for your 2 Together Railcard. The Disabled Person's Railcard has the additional benefit that (unlike your 2 Together Railard) you can use it to get the discount when travelling alone.
You cannot use any two different cards to get a double discount though.

In addition, the the disabled persons railcard can be used at any time and for most ticket types, including first class.

Could someone clarify the discount it gives on journeys in London now? I think only the holder can have the 1/3 discount loaded onto Oyster. Is there any discount for the second person?

You can’t load a discount onto a companions oyster but you can get railcard priced travel cards I believe

I love the idea of doubling up discount cards!

How about someone on a full time degree who is a mature student and aged between 26-30, with that new card coming out, even greater savings!

You can’t load a discount onto a companions oyster but you can get railcard priced travel cards I believe

That's correct. Make sure that the staff select the correct discount, as unlike other National Railcards, Disabled Persons Railcard holders are also eligible for the ⅓ on Oyster peak fares. The Railcard discounted paper Travelcard for the Railcard holder or someone accompanying them is for the Off-Peak Travelcard only (unless of course it's an Outboundary Travelcard).
