Requesting something different for once! I'd like the units that worked these also the proper headcodes except 6K05/27.

If you do not see the 172 you want in service then you stand a good chance of seeing it at Willesden depot. They are often parked at the back of the depot (so along side the DC lines). You should be able to see them with binoculars from the Willesden Junction South bound high level platform (served by trains to Clapham Jct and Richmond). Either at the back of the depot, poking out of the shed or sometimes/maybe in a siding at the front of the shed (so by the main line). You will get a closer view of any at the back of the depot by going past on the SLOW trains (378s) between Euston and Willesden Junction. You can get a view of the front of the depot from the footbridge over the mainlines (runs next to the high level line to Clapham Jct & Richmond) and from the roadway at the other end of that footbridge.

Be aware that the Gospel Oak - Barking line has been closed a lot for electrification work so best to check before you travel !.

Hi could I possibly have unit numbers for the following for (20/01/18)

2L21 1037 East Grinstead - London Victoria
1C48 2002 London Victoria - Portsmouth Harbour + Bognor Regis (I know 1 unit was 377455)

IThe closures is one of the reasons its taken me so long to get it for haulage.

Yesterday I did a slow loop of Gospel Oak - Harringay Green Lanes - Gospel Oak - failing to see 172005 and it wasn't at Willesden when I passed by, so went on to other things. Better luck next time.

Did manage to get my last 378 and 455 for sight though, with the bonus that they were for haulage too (both twice!).

On the info I've got I can only see the scrambled one for this (078H) - someone else might have it though.

Update: several photos on Flickr have it as 0Q70.
Went on to Crewe Gresty Lane as 0N42 soon after arriving at Wolverton.

Sorry it doesn't show me, but shows them as failures, so would guess one of the depots, Kirkdale, Birkenhead North or Hall road.
