Yesterday..was fortunate enough to be a few feet away from the exploding bus at Tavistock Square 4 years ago,but not enough to ever forget it

I think everyone who works in the transport sector knows where they were on 7th July 2005.

I was at the Cambridge JSOP on my rules course when the bombs were going off. The atmosphere was surreal to say the least and, as all London trains were being CAPE'd, the Reception Roads were filling up fast. Needless to say the training was quickly CAPE'd too as the manager taking it was told he was needed elsewhere.

Mind you, I was VERY glad not to have been up in London that day.

I was "lucky" enough to be on nights and therefore fast asleep when that happened (not that I live or work in Central London)

I was late shift that fateful day in july 2005 , was getting over the euforia of winning the olympics the day before, was woken by family to see if I was working or not, was totally numbstruck by what had happened, working the non excistent evening peak out of euston was sereal, 12 car trains running with only a trickle of the thousand's there normally is. R.I.P all of the victims of 7/7 , least we forget.

yeah the thing that really p***ed me off was that i hardly heard anything about it on the news, it was all "MJ`s" memorial,lots more people lost there lives in the 7/7 bombings 1 person lost there life when he died.

when it happened i was at school, my mates came running round the corner and told us what had happened, i didnt beleve them so i dashed up to the computer room and there it was, all over the news.
when i went home it was on the TV could not beleve what had happened.

i think the Special ep. of "The Tube" was good, told the story from the veiw of staff and the ERU

I love how people in this country use any tenuous reason to connect to tragedy. Would I be connected to it if I was on a bus being driven by a Greek Cypriot? I saw a group of Asians with rucksacks on 7/7, I consider myself lucky to be alive!
