London-Glasgow trip (outward 3 Jan, return 4 Jan): will strikes affect me?

I thought you were going with your brother?

I thought you were going with your brother?

I am, what makes you think otherwise?

You said you were going with the cod

You said you were going with the cod

Erm. In the politest way possible - so what?

Have you had a humour bypass recently Ryan?

Oh! I get it. That’s a dreadful joke and I’m not even going to bother saying no offence!

I can assure you I am going to Glasgow with Zac, not a fish

Basically the phrase “going with” has more than one meaning. 1. Your menu choice. 2. Your travelling companion.

I deliberately misunderstood your post to suggest that I thought the cod was your travelling companion. Pretty standard joke technique. Is suggest watching some stand up comedy. It’ll help you pick these sort of social niceties up.

It's one of those jokes you laugh at first then cringe, the best kind of jokes
