I’ve just come off (a very overcrowded) 150238 and noticed new at-seat plug sockets have been fitted! Per row of 2 seats there is 1 standard plug socket and two USB sockets. Took me by surprise!

That is odd I though they were only installing this on the ones that have come back from Wolverton in GWR Green...

They are part of the same fleet whether they've been to Wolverton or not
I think all 150/2s have now been to Wolverton, apart from 150265 and the middle coach out of 150925.

150219 and 150238 were the first to go and have had the mods fitted but received the FGW blue external repaint.

The middle coach is not formed in 150925 at the moment but it would go to Doncaster, not the same ROSCO as those that go to Wolverton

The question is will these 2 be repainted or revinyled in GWR green and have the interiors repainted and seats recovered green and grey? If the seats are not to bad, could the cushions and covers not be swapped for those on a 143 which aren't being done and the ex 143 cushions covered?

I have heard that the 2 middle coaches from 150925 and 150926 maybe swapped for 150207 from Northern

Who knows. Maybe eventually but probably not for a while. The interior of 150232 is also still FGW colours, though the external is GWR green.

This may be slightly off topic, not too sure, but it looks like at least one 150 has got power sockets and usb charging sockets as part of its internal refurb. News to me! Typical as many of them around me will be replaced by the turbos before long!

This is what we are now planning , we have done the engineering work to convert either 57209 or 57212 into a 52 car but I think northern would like the cars to make 3 car units , yet to hear if 207 goes to gwr whether we are doing the interior refresh , on a different note ex gwr 150 122 is coming to donny for a c4 on Monday , it will be the last 150 to have the prm mods done ,some time in early 2020on present predictions

Has already been posted in this thread, Post #2913. The 150/2s are not going anywhere, just the 150/1s

Just seen the neutral 153 pull in to Weston-super-Mare compared to the GWR green 153 it is coupled too. I'm suprised it doesn't have some sort of GWR logo somewhere on the side. The light grey of the body work, also shows the rivets holding it together off to great affect!

How far are they into the 158 refurbishment process? I've yet to travel on one. Have been on refurbished 150s and a HST. This is the second 158 I've been on it two days which has seat covers hanging off. Although it does make a nice change to the usual 150s I travel on.

Not sure of exact numbers but it must be about 50/50 now. Basically anything that hasn’t been refurbished or (won’t be) is being properly run into the ground. The state of some 150/1s is awful.

Cool. I guess they are installing them when they go in to go on the lathe.

There is an item in our New Notice case this week that suggests all DMUs that are to stay will receive these over the next 6 months.

One 230v socket and two USB sockets per row of seats.

57209 is still formed in 150925, I've just travelled on it on 2E30 2206 Bristol TM to Gloucester.

Maybe I saw a pic of 221 then! Not sure.

Numbers were blurred.

If it was 261, shame about the Tarka Line branding.
