Late night rumblings at Emerson Park

Hi there,

Live near Emerson Park station, heard something rumble by which a) didn't have lights and b) ran after the passenger trains end at 2158.

Found it on RTT it's this:

Seems to be running a very strange route (to my untrained eye anyway!) does anyone know what this is or what it's doing?

Correct - that's one of the Stowmarket based, DRS operated trains,
which are worked 'top and tail' by a pair of 57s, 66s, or 37s.

Ah thanks, glad they're not leaving out the Romford to Upminster line in their leaf clearing duties!

Most branches are covered at least once a day - in that same area, a GBRf operated train
covers the LTS lines, including the Upminster to Grays 'branch'.
