Does anyone know which units still have Faye's voice? I like her work and we've spoken a few times on social media. She's really nice!

When is 165119 due back?

I'm glad you clarified it was on social media. You'd look a bit odd holding a conversation with the PIS...

Because most people found her cringey and she received negative comments. Also, Janine was hired for the 800s ages ago so GWR thought, ah well, just put Janine on all of the fleet.

Or perhaps because the original set of recordings didn’t contain everything required going forward; and thus the opportunity was taken to re-record the whole repertoire with a new voice over artist.

She’s still on 158957 (heard it this week), and (I think 150238). Not sure on any others.

165117 has come back (it’s a three car)
165116 still at Wolverton.
165118 still at Reading (and in FGW livery)
165119 as stated above, only just gone to Wolverton.

I've heard rumours that in a few weeks the 150/1s are transferring to Northern. Is this true? It seems stupid as we already have a shortage of DMUs and many short formed trains crammed in the rush hour.

Dealt with through cascades. New 387s replace 165/166 Turbos in LTV, the latter moving west to Bristol to replace the 150/1s. The short forming of trains is a separate issue due to so many units being out of service at the same time. Allocation does not allow for this.
I've replied here as you have posted here but the Mods have already reminded us that this thread is only for Livery discussion - See Post #2773. Hope you don't mind me mentioning this.

Can we not send the out of service ones away if some have to leave the franchise?

Joking of course, but as with some of the HST's leaving before all of the 800's are in service, it seems once again the fragmented nature of the modern railway hits again if some 150's are leaving!

So with the completion of 165117, that means the two car 165s are the only ones of the 16x fleet remaining in Dynamic Lines livery, right? All 166s are either in green or plain dark blue. If 117 is done than all 165 3 car units are in green as well.

That is correct. We're still awaiting 165116 to come back from Wolverton, however we will no longer see a 3 car Turbo is Dynamic Lines livery anymore!

I do think that GWR have done a very good job with these refurbishments. They do look very good and I've heard people think that they are new trains.

There were at least two green but unbranded 165s on Reading depot today (11 November), parked side by side. I tried a photo from a passing HST but it was so gloomy it was just a green blur, unfortunately. Any ideas which ones they were? Something straight back from works?

Currently 165112, 165114 & 165117 are all unbranded GWR green

Of these three 165117 is the only one with the roof mounted air-con pods, so depending how blurred you photograph is you may be able to make out that detail if 117 happened to be one of them?
