I have just uploaded my shots from the Eastleigh 100 event. Also included from yesterday are the three railtours which were:

- 35028 'Clan Line' from London
- 37069/37602 from Crewe
- 70013 'Oliver Cromwell' from Norwich

Many thanks,

Many thanks,

Looking at your pic of 35028 arriving at Eastleigh, you can't have been more than a few metres from me! I think I was 3 or 4 people along from a guy who had risked balancing his tripod on the bridge parapet (not something I'd risk with a camera attached to it!).

Nice shots Jon, can just see myself in the one of the DRS 37s leaving Eastleigh. Was videoing them leaving and of course got partially bowled by the 66.

Teehee, I stepped on it twice just for the hell of it!!! LOL!

So you were the little girl with her brother dancing on and off the 3rd rail then:lol: getting shouted at by some enthusiasts.

Only joking, :p

I went there and found it to be a good event, had the chance to look into the Class 20 cab that was there.

Wasn't too bothered about the steam there, I was more interested in the modern stuff like the 50s, 442s, the slamdoor stock, 07, 52 and 55, not to mention the 59s as well.

Had some fun at Eastleigh station thanks to some people, a DBS 66 came in and you should see how excited they got running down the entire length of the platforms to photo it!

I had fun getting there though and back.

Class 91 set from Peterborough to Kings Cross
C Stock from Kings Cross St Pancras to Paddington on the Circle line
Class 166 from Paddington to Reading
Class 165 from Reading to Basingstoke
Class 444 from Basingstoke to Eastleigh

Class 444 from Eastleigh to Basingstoke
Class 165 from Basingstoke to Reading
Class 43 set from Reading to Paddington
C Stock from Paddington to Kings Cross St Pancras on the Circle line
Class 91 set from Kings Cross to Peterborough

First time on the 165/166s, had a chat with one of my FGW colleagues as well as a chat with one of the SWT guards who used to live in Peterborough.

The 444s seem to be okay apart from the excessive squealing that they make when they leave the station, is this normal?
