A busy month for both you two![]()

My month seems relatively tame compared to your Scot travels![]()
As you'd be looking for haulage, you'd be better off at one of the island platform stations in the middle of London such as Leicester Square so that you could react instantly whichever direction they are going in.Those last 2 73 stocks (excluding the 2 in the RAT) will probably be the hardest to locate, although I suspect if you have a couple hours at (say) Barons Court you can keep an eye out for them.

I prefer doing LU festers above ground if possible, mainly because it is less busy and also you don't get as much 'pollution'. Also remember some of the Piccadilly Line stations might have islands but the platforms themselves are slightly staggered with no easy middle passageway so you can't just sit in the middle to keep eyes on both westbound & eastbound services (if that makes sense)
True, but the stagger isn't enough to be a serious problem. It's what I did when I was down to my last few 1973 Stock units. If you must do Barons Court then do it on the London bound platform; it's a lot longer to wait if something escapes eastbound rather than westbound! Come to think of it, in that respect Acton might be better than Barons Court?
I'm with you Kite, the other week I waited at Acton Town on the London bound platform and nabbed quite a few like that. Easily have time to run up the steps and over for Airport bound stock. My 'plan' when I eventually return to London for a good LU hunting session will probably be a fester at Acton Town just to keep an eye on what is floating around. Most likely I will be on the London bound platform, then resume my deckchair at Hammersmith & Barons Court.
Cally/Holloway Road is good for island platforms and being moderately quiet (compared to the likes of Covent Garden/Green Park)
When I get round to hunting for 91177 I will probably take a seat at Leyton which has a nice bench on the westbound platform located roughly at 6 cars, although that be one for when it isn't raining
91177 is one of my last Central line vehicles required too. Has it been out of service for a while then or is it just a coincidence ?
