Congrats... still nothing heard on my end as I captain the ship of the unknown

Aye aye Cap'n, but calmer waters ahead according to Jack Sparrow.

Well done Pudsey. How far down the Great Western Mainline are you? Bet I will beat you for long distance commute if we get through all this. In fact, if I get this, it will make two entries in the Guinness Book of Records!!

We in the great Jack Sparrow's crew.

There's a full time driver that lives in Preston, can you beat him?

Thanks mate. And don't worry Tron and Jetlagged, you'll get your turn soon as sparrow said. Permission Cap'n to be relieved of my duties from the HMS pool of the unknown? ;)

I live in Slough-not that far to be honest on GWML and there are fast trains half hourly.

How far do you live? And Preston? :) is there a maximum distance/time limit?

Nope, nothing official, if you turn up for work on time and have no incidents then the managers are happy

Wow does the driver stay down while on shifts and go home on rest day's or commute everyday. You do mean Preston lancs, there isn't another Preston is there lol . No rules on fatigue then? . Doesn't it cost them a fortune even with 75% off and take a good few hour's, I mean got to be 3 to 4 hour commute plus 8/9 hour shift would be a 14-16 hour day .

Well done Pudsey,

You have graduated from the pool of unknown. I known your ready to smash AC1 :p

Tron and Jetlagged will be freed soon!

PS on the note of travel I come from Birmingham and worked for TFL for a year. There is no problem with long distance, as long as you arrive on time and ready for action.

You lot are bonkers :D

Thought that was a prerequisite for the job! Who else would want to spend all night down a dark tunnel? At least it will beat riding the storm on the ship of the unknowing!
