Hi all,

Perhaps just a change of livery/possibility of a brief return to shops instead of trolleys, but very unusually-

VT 221108 and 221109 are today (26/08/17) on hire to Cross Country and forming:

1H17 0731 Birmingham New Street to Manchester Piccadilly
1O12 0927 Manchester Piccadilly to Bournemouth
1M58 1445 Bournemouth to Manchester Piccadilly
1G70 2007 Manchester Piccadilly to Birmingham New Street.

Plenty of people still think Virgin run the XC franchise, and I think this comment by him is tongue in cheek.

The same should happen tomorrow, but just for the 09:27 Manchester-Bournemouth and 14:45 return

Assume this is XC pulling out all the stops to shift people round the network where ever possible whilst the WCML is stuffed?

The advert 'be seeing you' is quite funny

Not sure what the advert is actually about

Its an advert for Festival No 6 in Portmerion. VTWC have an ongoing promotion with them.

Don't think the choice of unit for work to/from Reading this weekend is a coincidence: )

That being itself a reference to the very good 1960s TV series The Prisoner, staring Patrick McGoohan.
